Now that we figured out the only way to buying a house is to go through the elaborated maze of mortgage application; let’s discuss the two most obvious paths:

1. Personal application

Unless you are Richie Rich that has a bank account with a seven digit balance, the first thing that concerns you when buying a property, is the price tag. For any first time buyer it is almost impossible to think of buying a property without a mortgage. But even with a mortgage, a lot of upfront money is needed.

If you are working and renting in a big city, most probably you asked this question of yourself sometimes: why am I paying so much for rent when most likely the mortgage payment of the house I live in is less?

It was one of those mornings, clear sky and nice weather. Even the usual trip to work seems like an adventure when you feel great. I just wanted to enjoy my day to the fullest and while waiting for the bus, bang it hit me. They were six people standing at the bus stop with me and all of them were looking at their phones!!

We shouldn’t have any currency on mars

All the buzz these days is about Space X mission plan to land humans on mars. Everyone including myself is super excited about the infinite opportunities this will bring for the human race. There are so many fascinating new technologies that are involved in the whole mission, but as Elon himself puts it; Space X is going to be the provider for the trip same way as railroads joint east and west US coasts. This is not an easy or small task at all but I have some other concerns of myself.

Is internet turning us all to white rabbits?

I guess everyone remembers the white rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland”. Now you might ask what we all have in common with Mr. McTwisp. Well, the correct question is what our digital life have in common with him? Everything started with the Facebook status update, twitter’s tweets and other fast pace service’s updates in the digital world. They enabled us to know everything that happens everywhere across the world in the instant. Adding to this was the break through of smart packet sized phones and devices, that vibrate and flash as someone did something in our virtual reality. 

Birthday Post

For those not familiar with the birthday problem, it is simply the question that:

“What is the chance of sharing your birthday with another person in a room of say 23 people?“

The answer for that specific number of people is around 50% chance. In the first instance, you might think that is pretty high, given there are 365 days in a year and only 23 people in the room. But actually the chance increase pretty quick (exponentially) and for a room of 40 people, there is almost 90% chance that two persons share their birthday!!

First step

Why doing things for the first time keeps getting harder as we grow older. When we are infants and trying to learn things for first time, there is no hesitation. We just do it and even if we fall hard on the ground after our first step, we just get back up and try  until we get it right. I don’t know when we lose that ability, but finally I managed to get over it and set up my own website. So, here we go, hello world !!
